Does Anointing Forgive Sins?

A deacon said that being anointed with holy oil at a healing Mass absolves me of my sins. Can I use this as my last confession?
The sacrament of anointing of the sick forgives sins only if the recipient is unable to confess (CCC 1532). If a person is able to get to a healing Mass, the odds seem pretty good that he’d also be able to go to confession.
